is gearing up to provide enhanced support to start-up and established small business owners affected by the closing of Fort Monmouth.

The SBDC is working diligently to assemble and provide you with an array of information, technical assistance, business development tools and collaborative opportunities to help business owners and employees survive and thrive in a changed business environment.

As always, the SBDC's counseling services are available to anyone, at anytime, and workshops dealing with small business formation and issues are available right now and each semester. Information about these is online, or in the Brookdale Community College catalog.

Specific counseling opportunities, workshops, distance learning sessions, web-based information tools, networking/knowledge exchanges, and blogs, are being developed, primarily for individuals whose businesses, contracts, or employment will be impacted by the Fort Monmouth closing.

These individual and group services became available in late 2007 and will be offered at additional sites and special resource centers within the Fort Monmouth footprint.

Stay tuned to this site and to notices in the community to learn about the many ways the New Jersey Small Business Development Center can assist you in the next exciting phase of your business career!
