NJSBDC AT KEAN UNIVERSITY HOSTS CONSULATE OF EL SALVADOR & LATINO SMALL BUSINESS COMMUNITY

NJSBDC Intern | May 27, 2022

May 27, 2022 (Newark, NJ) – The New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) at Kean University hosts its first community outreach under the leadership of its new director, Rafael Mata. The event will take place on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. m. to 6:00 p.m. m. EDT at Kean University – Hynes Hall (behind Starbucks) located at 1011 Morris Avenue in Union, NJ.

With the purpose of helping small businesses achieve their goals, NJSBDC at Kean University will be hosting the Consulate of El Salvador at the Kean University School of Business and Public Management. New Jersey small business owners will have access to new networks, learn about small business resources and sign up for free consulting. The in-person event will be held in Spanish and will have a translator available for speakers of other languages.

The center’s no-cost services range from helping a business in its inception stage to helping it reach its next level after already having been operational—this event is meant to delineate how the NJSBDC can make a difference in meeting the diverse small business needs for small businesses. New Jersey’s SBDC state director, Kelly Brozyna, noted that “I am proud of the efforts by the centers’ directors. They work tirelessly to find the specific needs of their small business community and target ways to fill them. I am sure that this event at Kean’s SBDC will be one of many to support the small business community.”

All members of the small business community are welcome. To register for the event, interested small business owners can register at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/njsbdc-ku-hosts-consulate-of-el-salvador-latino-smb-community-tickets-333971777577 .
